Service Description

This 4 week program runs 2 days a week on Mondays + Wednesdays. Classes are filled with Postpartum Corrective Exercises, Strength Training, Plyometrics, Cardio + Core! Come + meet your village and be a part of a supportive community <3 ALL fitness levels welcome! There will be 2-3 exercise progressions for each exercise to suit beginner to intermediate levels of fitness. Ideal for mamas with baby's 2 months-Walking! Classes will run at West Middlesex Memorial Park. The first session in this stroller fitness program includes a 1 Hour Stroller Prep Class. In this session you will learn about diaphragmatic breathing, how to breathe more effectively during exercise, as well as proper core + pelvic floor activation and exercise form + technique.  This session will help you feel more confident performing exercises throughout the rest of the program, as well as help you better understand how your body moves + functions.  NOTE: It is highly recommended each participant be cleared for exercise by their physician or Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist before sessions begin. Equipment Needed: Participants will need the following:  1. Stroller 2. One or Two sets of dumbbells (2lbs-10lbs) (If two, bring one light set, one heavy) 3. Yoga Mat or Large Blanket In this program, we make space for a bit of chaos! Kids have a short attention span and sometimes they just need a little extra attention from mama. We make room for ALL of it. If you need to stop to feed or attend to your little one, please don't feel rushed. As mothers, we all understand how demanding kids can be at times and we like to give our kiddos and mamas all the grace they need to feel supported, understood and encouraged in every session of this program! Classes will run:  Mondays + Wednesdays @ 9:45am  Starting May 5th - May 28th (Classes still run on holidays + PA Days) Please come dressed appropriately for the weather! Classes will still be running if it is raining lightly. In the event of downpour or storm, Class may be rescheduled. A Welcome Email with important information about this program will be sent to each participant before classes begin, once sign up has been received! You will also be added to an instagram group chat where we all stay up to date on weather, class information and important notifications about rescheduling etc. If you prefer to pay in person, I accept cash on the first day of classes or select manual payment at checkout and e-transfer to j.thefitdoula@gmail.com
